Value-Added Services

Barcode labeling is used throughout our inventory management system. Every stock item is labeled for product identification and traceability. All products processed for delivery are bar-coded to provide the necessary information to streamline your receiving process. Kit Assembly and special packaging are additional services we provide. Our special in-house process maintains full lot traceability of each component used in the process. We can package and barcode-label each kit per your specification.

Vendor Managed Inventory

Over the years, Assembly Fasteners has developed programs specifically designed to meet customers' needs in managing their inventory. Our IPS (Inventory Palm System) enables inventory personnel to retrieve data at the customer's site, which is transmitted via the Internet for immediate replenishment. The RIMS (Remote Inventory Management System) is a standalone PC-based system for consigned inventory programs providing an audit trail of activity, barcode labeling and packaging. Activity is communicated via the Internet with real-time inventory views available.

We can tailor any program to provide solutions in response to your specific needs. Our diverse product line enables us to provide the products you need when you need them. Information Technology

We can accept any EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transaction. Just let us know what specific modules you require. Assembly Fasteners will implement new technologies as we move forward in our journey to improve functionality and services to our customers and trading partners.

Our integrated computer system provides instant information that verifies available stock, pricing, delivery, order status and complete lot traceability of all products. In most cases your order is filled from stock and shipped the same day from one of our multiple distribution centers. Upon request, you can receive automatic e-mail notification of shipment or trace your packages on the web. We have the tools to provide the information you need!

With our Document Imaging System you can be assured of complete control and retention of all Quality System documentation. Scanned images of inventory items are available at a click of a mouse for viewing, faxing or e-mailing. When you need a parts data sheet in a hurry, we'll have it for you.

Engineering Support

We pride ourselves on our ability to work closely with your engineering and design staff. Highly trained field sales personnel are equipped to demonstrate the latest in product developments. As a proprietary distributor of PEM, Southco, Panduit, Richco, Bivar, POP, Parker-Kalon, RAF, Heli-Coil, Heyco, 3M and others, we are able to provide factory-engineering support to assist you with specific solutions for new designs and applications.
