Description

Ball Studs are a door catch style product and ideal for applications where constant opening and closing are required. Varying pull out tensions can be achieved from any ball stud depending on the mating latch that is used. The ease of use of these products make them popular choices for electrical panels, cabinets, and enclosures. The hex shape allows for greater torquing as the flat sides allow for wrench tightening. Steel is inexpensive, easy to achieve finer surface quality requirements and provides relatively high strength properties. Multiple plating options are available to increase the material's corrosion resistance and alter its appearance.
