Slides

Also known as linear-motion bearings or linear slides, these specialty bearings come in a variety of different types, serving industries ranging from automotive to cabinetry to medicine. As fasteners, they connect two components while still allowing for motion in a specified direction by using rolling elements or moving carriages.

The most common linear slides utilize ball bearings (ball slides), housing rows of balls in retaining cages with an outer sleeve for smooth motion. These components allow for smooth, precision motion with low friction, high rigidity, low maintenance, and long service.
